"Mowah.. Mowah.. Mowah.." .. yes this is the phrase that has been coming into my head .. like all the time! That is one of my favorite things my neice Katelyn says. So, often my roommates will have to deal with me expressing to them how much I love it! I know everyone "thinks" they have the cutest nieces, nephews, siblings, cousins.. family.. but, I think I really do! haha I mean come on... just look at Kate! I can't wait to go home and see my amazing family.

Life is crazy.. busy.. but so wonderful. I am ready for a break in school but I still am loving BYU and all the good times that come with it!

a new start

My roommate read this quote to me the other day and I thought it was just perfect! I think too often we all walk around with this idea in our heads.. too often I do :(

"To me, it's a good idea to always carry two sacks of something when you walk around. That way, if anybody says, 'Hey, can you give me a hand?' You can say, 'Sorry, got these sacks."

:) Life is going well though. Classes are well underway and the semester is off! I don't know how it is even possible but I feel as if I am already behind in my classes?! really!? how?! I have no idea I felt as if I was behind on day one! I am finally getting caught up on reading and all that fun stuff so I am feeling a little more calm and collected.

So far I have some amazing classes... and some pretty good teachers. I am loving mission prep and I have already learned so much in the reading materials and in the lectures. I am taking the class with my roommate Sheridan and that has been a lot of fun to have some classes finally with her.

School is nice.. but I miss home and I miss Disney... but honestly all things considered.. life is good :) I have so many things to be grateful for! :)

Okay.. okay .. okay I know I should have been doing a better job with writing and updating on here. I will try to do a better job.

Home is going pretty well, but I am getting very excited to head back out to school and see all of my amazing school friends. I miss my roommate more then anything! I am actually getting pretty excited to start school again and have school there to structure my days:)

One of the things I miss the most when I am out at school is being in a family ward. I love being home and being able to teach in Primary. I love it .. I love the songs and I love the kids. Right now I get to

be with the sunbeams and they are simply.. amazing. They are some of the kids I had last summer in nursery. They are so full of energy and suck almost everything out of me.. but that is why it is so fun. I have about 5-6 kids each week. Each one comes with a very unique personality and ideas. It is so fun to watch them learn and interact, I think they teach me more then I will ever teach them. I will miss them so much when I am back out at school.

Elise is finishing her last day of high school... and then reality will kick in for her that she has to pack, clean, and getting ready for her open house, summer term, graduation, and so much more. It is fun to see her go through all of it and realize how I was when I finished up high school.

well, I promise to do better.. and I will update more often :D

Disney ...At Last

Hello :) Sorry it has been a long time since I have wrote but I thought I would give everyone and update

I arrived in Orlando, Florida on Monday January 11th. I was totally excited and nervous but everything is going well. I am a cast member on the Downtown Disney main entrance crew. Right now I am getting trained at Disney Quest working in the ticket office. Next week though I will go over to the Cirque du Soleil to work. I will be ushering and ticketing at the Cirque. I am so excited about getting to work there because I have never gotten to see the show before and I have always wanted to. It will be amazing because I will get to see the show and meet so many amazing people.

I am living in Chatham square which is one of the three housing complexes for the International program and Collage program. I live in a two bedroom apartment with three girls; Erin, Ariel, and Alayna. So far we all get along really well and we all go to either BYU or BYU-I. I have meet so many amazing people so far and I am sure I will continue to meet so many more:)

I have just been so tired! There is so much going on and so many things to learn.

I will try to put pictures up soon. :)

A long week....

This week just seemed to be so long. Each morning I would think, at least things will be better once today is over. Then each night I would realized that the next day was just as crazy and just as packed. I had 4 tests this week, 3 papers due, cooking for my dinner group and my council for church, 3 extra labs, and everything else. The only thing that kept me going was realizing how much more my amazing roommates had going on. One is getting married in a few weeks... another works and goes to school and is always busy.. and the other has a work load that I can not understand... another is in the hospital ... it is just crazy. I pretty much have the most amazing roommates ever:) I am just happy that it is finally Friday and the weekend is here.

I am getting so excited for thanksgiving so that I can finally have a much needed break from school!

Today... I finally went back to classes :) After having the Flu and being down for a few days I am to get all catch back up. I will tons to do and I will probably stress out... but it will be worth it:) At least I am healthy now and that is all I can ask for.

I am just realizing though that I have the best roommates ever. The last few days have been a rollercoaster of emotions for all of us. It is great though because my roommates are like me and we are all okay turning up the music and letting it all go or sitting and just playing "bomberman". :D I don't know what I would do without them.

Okay so Emily just called me out on it being about a year since I have put anything up on my blog. I just get so busy with school and life that I forget.. :( Everything is going pretty well for me though. I am back out a BYU and just doing the school thing again after being home working for the summer. Though I just found out today that I was lucky enough to catch a flu bug going around so that is making me pretty tired but it should be fine. I just thought I would touch base and give a little update. I will try to give a better update tomorrow.

Okay so I just had to put up some Football pictures. I love getting to go to the games! Also we have really good seats. I actually get to sit on the 50 yard line in row 8. It is pretty nice to say the least. I sit right behind the BYU team so I not only get to watch the game I get to see the players. I believe I have the best of both worlds.. it is nice. It is finally getting cooler for the games which is really nice because it is a lot easier to sit through a game when you are not looking directly at the sun and sweating in the heat. Also I have this amazing hat that I now get to wear to the games :) haha I will have to post pictures of my hat soon!

True Blue!

It has been awhile since I have posted anything.. So I thought I would leave a quick little post.

Right before the weather got cooler.. we had TRUE BLUE FOOTBALL here at BYU.

It was pretty much the highlight of my week. All you do is go play in blue foam.. and turn blue..

I had a blue tint to most of my body for a few days to follow... and my hands for like a week! It was totally worth it though, I had an wonderful time. They had a giant slide that anyone would love.. IT WAS TOTALLY AMAZING!

Back at BYU

Sorry it has been a while...

I am back out at BYU now getting ready for classes to start tomorrow. I am now living in Liberty Square apartments off-campus rather then the dorms on campus. So far I really enjoy living here. I have 5 more amazing roommates now. Rachel is my roommate and she is pretty much perfect. She is a sophomore who seems to excel in everything. She is so kind and so much fun to be around.

I am really excited for this semester to get started. I was able to sign up for classes that I really want to take....so it should be a lot of fun. I have two religion classes (Book of Mormon and Living Prophets) which I am so excited for :D I also am taking some geography classes to see if that is really the major I want to go into..so that should be exciting as well.

Although I live further from the temple and MTC Bekah and I still head up there once a week for a temple trip and session at the MTC. I love being able to just walk or bike a few minutes and be at the temple. It is so nice just to have that be a part of my week. Volunteering at the MTC has also been so beneficial to me. I love seeing all the missionaries prepare to go out and serve people throughout the world. It has really given me a greater appreciation for what they do and a realization of how much work it takes to get there.

ahh okay well I really must be off I still have lots of unpacking and cleaning to do before this semester starts! I hope to hear from everyone soon :)

Good News!!

I actually get to come home over my short break :) I didn't think I would be able to make it back to Sturgis since the break is pretty short and traveling is expensive.. but thanks to my wonderful Mum and Dad I have a flight! I fly in on the 18th and am there for a little over a week :D I can't wait to see everyone and catch up on everything I have missed!

Classes are wrapping up now with Finals are all next week. I am pretty excited to have this term be over. I am really excited for my fall classes :) I had a wonderful summer term. I had some amazing teachers, classes, and not to mention my wonderful student ward. Things have gone pretty well for me out here so far.

I am off to class now but I just wanted to give you all a little update. Hope all is well :) I will SEE YOU SOON!

Decade Dance

Here are a few of my roommates and I all dressed up for our first stake dance. We all went to D.I and got the best outfits we could. We had an amazing time getting all ready. Makeup and hair were by far my favorite part! :)

Okay so I have to get going on this blog thing. It is totally new to me :( I will have to have Sheridan my amazing roommate help me out. She seems to get everything about blogs....
